The series was developed within the Croatian Audiovisual Centre’s call for television project development. It was shown on Croatian Radio Television, while at the end of 2015 it was also on TV screens across Belgium. Rest in Peace is the first Croatian television series showing on a major British market. The license for screening Rest in Peace was bought by the ‘Walter Presents’ project.

‘The Walter Presents project’s aim is to present the best drama programs from around the globe, and Rest in Peace, is our first Croatian series. I hope that this sale will be one of many future business successes by local productions in the international market,’ said producer and project creator Walter Iuzzolino. The project has now expanded onto the American television market and is called ‘Walter Presents USA’.

Rest in Peace is a Croatian drama series which began showing in January, 2013. The series creators are Dario Vince and Koraljka Meštrović. Production was financed by Croatian Radio Television, while the producers are the independent production house Ring Productions. The directors are Goran Rukavina, Kristijan Milić and Goran Dukić, and more than 250 top Croatian actors have featured on the series starring Judita Franković and Dragan Despot.
