Croatian Films at 15th goEast International Festival in Wiesbaden

Documentary film Naked Island and fiction film The Reaper by Zvonimir Jurić and the Croatian minority co-production No One’s Child by Vuk Ršumović have been selected for competition at the 15th international central and eastern European film festival goEast.

In addition to the competition, the festival’s side section Beyond Belonging will screen four more Croatian films: feature fiction film Blacks directed by Zvonimir Jurić and Goran Dević, two short documentaries Three by Goran Dević and A Real Man’s Film by Nebojša Slijepčević, as well as the short minority co-production The Chicken directed by Una Gunjak.

The Highlights section screen the Croatian minority co-production A Monument to Michael Jackson, directed by Darko Lungulov.

The festival takes place 22-28 April in Wiesbaden. Alongside the Cottbus International Film Festival, goEast is considered one of the most important platforms for the promotion of eastern and central European cinema. Check out more information on the official festival website.
