Ani and Ljilja are unemployed, middle-aged, strong-willed women in grave financial trouble. A casual conversation with a close friend who works in a local bank gives them the idea of carrying out a robbery, which turns out to be a temporary solution to their situation. Unfortunately, their money problems don’t go away.

Darko Šuvak was born in Zagreb. He obtained his BA in Cinematography from the Zagreb Academy of Dramatic Arts and his MA from the American Film Institute in Los Angeles, where he lives. He has worked as a director of photography around the globe. His films and hundreds of TV commercials have garnered awards at festivals in Pula, Los Angeles, Madrid, Cannes, Toronto.
