Plupko is a small creature living in a big tree. He has never stepped off it, until one autumn day, when he decides to climb down. But as he tries to step on the ground, the ghost of his fear springs out of the shadow cast by his leg whispering to him not to go. The forest suddenly looks terrifying and threatening and Plupko retreats back into his tree hole.
