Marko Meštrović's No Sleep Won't Kill You
My Way, produced by Bold Studio from Zagreb, tells a story of growing up and the maturing of anxiety and ambition illustrated through a tale of shoes. Popović's first film She Who Measures won FIPRESCI Award at Annecy in 2008. Meštrović's film, produced by Kreativni sindikat and Zagreb Film, deals with dreams which take control over reality. Miramare, produced by the Academy of Fine Arts and Zagreb Film, follows the life on the borders of Europe, where tourists try to relax while "illegal" immigrants are struggling to forge a better life for themselves.

Michaele Müller's Miramare
International Film Festival in Annecy is the world's largest event dedicated to animation. It was created in 1960 and this year it celebrates its 50th anniversary.
