Synopsis

American pension of Grandpa Đurađ which goes to his widow Neđa is the only source of income for the Paripović family. After Neđa's sudden death their existence is threatened and the head of the familiy, Mane ,together with his son Todor and brother Joja devises a plan to switch the Grandmother. Everyone's thrilled by the idea except Joja's son Branko, whose only wish is to get away from them as soon as possible.


Director's Biography

Danilo Šerbedžija (1971) pursued his film studies at The school of Film, Ohio University of Athens, Ohio. He has a number of documentaries, award-winning shorts and music videos under his belt, as well as a fair number of TV sitcoms. 72 Days is his first feature film boasting a strong ensemble cast composed of some of the biggest ex-Yugoslav screen stars and some of the most promising Croatian acting talent.
