Filming in Croatia
In summer 2007 the Croatian Parliament passed a new Film Act, underlining its commitment to boosting the country's creative industries. The newly founded governing film body, The Croatian Audiovisual Centre, opened its doors in January 2008. In addition, the Croatian government has pledged its continuing full support to efforts to attract international film projects to the country: One of the specific goals of the newly founded Croatian Audiovisual Centre is to set up a Film Commission in near future.
