Open call for the Animation goes MSU! announced

Animafest Zagreb, in association with the Museum of Contemporary Art, announces open call for site-specific works to be displayed on the media façade of the Museum of Contemporary Art, Animation goes MSU!. The deadline is March 22nd. 

World Festival of Animated Film – Animafest Zagreb, in association with the Museum of Contemporary Art Zagreb (MSU), announces a Public Call for three-channel site-specific animations up to 10 minutes of duration, to be displayed on MSU’s media façade. Among submitted applications, the selected works will be displayed on the media façade of the Museum of Contemporary Art between 23 May and 10 June 2017, in line with the 27th World Festival of Animated Film, taking place 5 – 10 June 2017 in Zagreb.

The works will be selected by curator Leila Topić, MSU senior curator, and Daniel Šuljić, Animafest’s Art Director. The selection results will be published on the official websites of Animafest and MSU. 

The best site-specific animation of the jury’s choice with be awarded a festival sculpture and a three-week solo screening of the work on MSU’ media façade during February and March 2018.

Entries for the Animation goes MSU! are open until 22 March. All entries should arrive at MSU’s address by that date.
