Marko and Atanas, two young men from the Balkans, travel to Austria on student visas. Instead of returning home, they decide to pay 7,000 euros to Austrian 'wives' in hope of attaining Austrian citizenship. This was exactly what the director of this film achieved in documenting: going to Vienna and finding a fake bride, taking part in the whole process along the way.

Atanas Georgiev (1977) graduated in film and TV editing from the Faculty of Dramatic Arts in Skopje, Macedonia. He has edited numerous feature films, shorts, documentaries, and music videos. He is the owner of the Trice Films production company, based in Skopje and Prague.
