Festivals and Audience Support Schemes
Stimulating greater audience choice is one of our key aims and we strongly believe that supporting film festivals is the ideal way to do this. We currently support around 20 film festivals in Croatia, including the Pula Film Festival, the Motovun Film Festival, the Zagreb Film Festival, Zagrebdox and Animafest - World Festival of Animation, to name but a few.
Skills and Training
We are committed to help Croatian filmmakers participate in existing European skills building and training initiatives. This is an open call for applications, assessed on a quarterly basis.
Film Education, Culture and Archives
We promote a better understanding and knowledge of film through a range of funding schemes, including our Publications Fund, Archive Fund and Specialized Exhibition Fund, as well as through various educational schemes operated through our strategic partner Croatian Film Association.
Promotion and Sales of Croatian Films Abroad
Our funding and promotional activities help to promote and sell Croatian films around the world. We attend key film festival markets such as Berlin, Cannes and Annecy. We also offer financial support to Croatian films and Croatian filmmakers attending film festivals around the world. This is an open call for applications (details tbc).
